Digital Strategist – Technology

We are looking for a Digital Strategist to work closely with global enterprise clients and help shape their digital transformation roadmap. The role focuses on understanding business challenges, identifying digital opportunities, and translating them into strategic initiatives tied to measurable business outcomes.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as CMOs, CIOs, CDOs, and Heads of Digital, facilitating workshops, co-creating digital roadmaps, and partnering with solutions, engineering, and project teams to ensure strategies are practical and deliverable.

The role also involves identifying opportunities within existing accounts, developing strategic narratives and ROI cases, and turning insights from client engagements into reusable playbooks and accelerators for Axelerant.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Strategy & Roadmaps: Assess client digital maturity, identify whitespace, and create digital roadmaps tied to business outcomes.
• Client Advisory: Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders such as CMOs, CIOs, CDOs, and Heads of Digital/Customer Experience.
• Discovery & Opportunity Shaping: Lead discovery conversations, understand client challenges, and translate them into strategic digital initiatives.
• Workshops & Facilitation: Conduct workshops and ideation sessions across different industries, cultures, and geographies.
• Strategic Initiatives: Identify 2–3 validated strategic initiatives per account and help move them from opportunity to client commitment.
• Business Cases & Storytelling: Develop ROI cases, strategic narratives, and stakeholder presentations to help clients gain internal alignment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with presales, solutions, engineering, and project teams to ensure strategies are realistic and deliverable.
• Digital Ecosystem Strategy: Design scalable digital ecosystems across DXP/CMS, CDP, commerce, data, marketing automation, cloud, and AI.
• Account Growth: Identify future opportunities within existing Tier 1 accounts and surface the next initiative before the client fully articulates it.
• Knowledge & Playbooks: Turn account insights into reusable playbooks, accelerators, case studies, and strategic content for Axelerant

• 8+ years of experience in digital strategy, enterprise transformation, management consulting, or senior advisory roles.
• Experience shaping digital roadmaps and transformation strategies, not just executing projects.
• Strong understanding of modern digital technologies, including DXP/CMS, CDP, commerce, personalization, marketing automation, martech, data/cloud platforms, and AI solutions.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders such as CMOs, CIOs, CDOs, and Heads of Digital/Customer Experience.
• Strong consultative storytelling skills — able to simplify complex technology and connect it to business outcomes.
• Strong systems-thinking ability and understanding of how different digital platforms and systems work together.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and ideation skills.
• Cross-cultural fluency and comfort working with global clients and teams; travel-ready.
• A problem-solving mindset — focused on solving client problems rather than simply selling services.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and focus on business outcomes rather than technical deliverables.
• Familiarity with modern engineering practices and AI-augmented ways of working is a plus.
